A lot has happened today. First of all, we left Jerusalem as planned in the direction of Tel Aviv. Then, the female driver called, which put my view of the car world in order again. We spent a couple of hours in Tel Aviv and Jaffa, where the climate is totally different from Jerusalem - much higher humidity (which did nothing to my hair, for those FRIENDS of you who were worried). Then, we left Tel Aviv in the direction of the hydrogeologist's home in Kfar Netter, where I saw my parents off, who went straight to the airport. Then the second hydrogeologist joined us, and we had a nice reunion.
On the political front, this morning started with the news that Northern Israel had been bombed by Hizbollah from Southern Lebanon. This is new and pretty bad, since Lebanon has been quiet for a long time now. The day ended with Hizbollah rockets on Haifa, and this is truely not funny anymore. We will have to wait what happens; if this keeps happening, I'll be home very soon.
